First Time Sweater: An Introduction to One-Piece Garments
July 9, 2019 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Cost: $55 for 3 hours
Teacher: Kate
Dates: Tuesday, July 9th from 6-9pm
The top-down one piece garment construction is very popular, and often a little easier to tackle for nervous knitters than patterns with a lot of seeming involved. This class is for knitters who are tackling their first such garment. In this class, we work a complete mini-sweater project, building all the skills and techniques you need to successfully work any such design, whether for kids or adults. A copy of a baby-sized sweater pattern is included in the class.
Once finished your wee sweater, we recommend our “Fearless Finishing” class to expand your seaming skills for future garments.
Skill Level: Beginner: knitters need to cast on, knit, purl and bind off
Materials Required: 4.5mm/US #7 24 inch circular needle and DPNs, approx. 50g light-colored medium-weight yarn, available for purchase in-store.
