October 5 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Dates: Thursday, October 5th from 6-8 pm
Unlike some fabrics that come and go with trends, lace has always had a place in closets, whether it is in shawls, hats, gloves, sweaters, cowls, or countless other garments; it has a unique and beautiful timelessness about it. In this class, we’ll get comfortable with several of the most commonly used lace stitches, learn how to read a few simple lace charts and written instructions, and discuss some of the most common mistakes and how to repair them.
Skill Level: Early intermediate, must be quite comfortable with knit, purl, casting on and off, and pattern reading.
Materials Required: Please bring 4.5mm or 5mm needles, scrap yarn will be provided.
